Bracken Control Group Meeting
The sector representatives of the Bracken Control Group met at Manchester Airport.
With some suggested alterations, the draft Emergency Authorisation application was approved.
Task Groups will be formed to consider how more effective control of bracken using hand-held equipment can be authorised.
A Data Task Group will be formed to consider the best way to write up and present both the National Bracken Control Trials and the Bracken Clearance Proving Trial.
Richard Allen announced his retirement and Andrew Speed was introduced as his successor.
