New briefing - Bracken canopy penetration by ground and aerially applied herbicides.

The report considers the fate of sprayed herbicides, in particular the proportion of spray that reaches the soil surface through different canopy densities, when applied from ground and aerial platforms using a range of approved nozzles. It discusses the methodology, 2021 Lowna trials, the 1996 Spaunton trials, comparison of nozzles as well as the results reported and a concluding discussion with final thoughts of recommendations for further work.
