Emergency Authorisation Application for 2021
An application for an Emergency Authorisation to allow Asulam to be used for bracken control throughout the UK during the 2021 season was submitted on 30 October 2020. There is more information on the Asulam webpage.
The application contains details of the planned and proposed research programme (Annex C) that aims to provide evidence to support chemical control of bracken. This covers issues relating to primary treatment but also secondary (follow-up) treatment using hand-held equipment and control in forestry.
